We hit up this spot on a Sunday night and wow, the ice cream was seriously good! I dove into the Whiskey Girl, Ooh Lala, Strawberries and Cream, and Birthday Cake flavors. They were all super flavorful, but the Whiskey Girl truly stole the show – it was amazing! You order right outside, and there's a cool seating area with picnic tables and a fire pit, plus a fun play area for the kiddos. Definitely a sweet stop!

Walked over from Riverview park. Cute spot with a small outdoor enclosed sitting area. Flavors were unique and fun to try! I went two days in a row. The second day I went close to closing, and many of the flavors were sold out.

I would be very sad if anyone has not tried their organs blossom with honey and pistachio prickles . Such a creative flavor perfectly done. Banana pudding was also super super solid. Got a cute little garden to enjoy your ice cream!!! So far best ice cream spot in Charlottesville!!

I'm staying at a resort in Virginia and the treat shop has a few flavors of this ice cream and oh my gosh I am obsessed!!!!! The chocolate orange blossom cheesecake ice cream is the most delicious flavor of ice cream I've ever tasted. The Ooh La La! is a close second.

Amazing selection! I love a unique flavor and they had lots I sampled the honey sea salt latte and the apricot amoretti. The apricot gave major spring vibes but the honey sea salt latte was the winner that’s what I got on my cone, it was amazing! My partner had the mocha latte and he was very impressed with the chocolate nibs. The outdoor space is very cute and would definitely be a good group hang out spot with lots of seating and games. The only thing that might get a little tricky is parking if it is full.

Emily and her team make every visit to Sugar Bear a treat! For my birthday, my husband asked her to make a tray of custom ice cream sandwiches to surprise me and they were fantastic!! Many thanks to Emily and the Sugar Bear team for making my birthday extra special!!

Easy 5 star and returned for a second time the same day. Friendly window service. No cash, card only, but they do cash or card tips. I got a strawberry shake, wife a peanut butter cup and daughter a "Jack" which is their specialty ice cream sandwich in a chocolate variety. They only have one Jack flavor a day. We all absolutely loved! There is ample seating on their side patio yard area. But parking can be challenging in the lot. Many street park across the street. Next time in town it's Sugar Bear again!
